Supporting participants with a behaviour support plan
Lead Your Life holds registration for Module 2a, which covers the implementation of behaviour support plans. For participants whose plans include one, that is not a small detail: it means our staff are trained to deliver support precisely as the plan is written, consistently, and without improvising when a day does not go as expected.
Our executive team hold qualifications in training and education, so this training is designed in-house rather than bought off a shelf, and we partner with a registered training organisation to give our people further development opportunities. As a registered provider we are regulated by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission — you can read more about us and our accreditations.
How daily living support works alongside SIL, respite and short-term accommodation
Daily living support rarely sits on its own. For many participants it forms one part of a wider arrangement that also takes in Supported Independent Living, respite, or short-term and medium-term accommodation.
Because we deliver each of these ourselves, moving between them does not mean rebuilding your supports from scratch. The team already knows your routines, your preferences and the things that matter to you, and that knowledge travels with you rather than being lost at the handover.
If you are weighing up which combination suits you, our NDIS support resources explain how the pieces fit together, and the NDIA’s guidance on NDIS home and living supports covers the funding side. Or simply contact us and we will talk it through.

Jason loves going to respite at Lead Your Life. It gives him a good break. Disapointed that we missed out on respite care from Nov to Jan but it good that it now back on track. It would be good if we could get the extra foour days a year and use more respite as a transition accommodation for future permanent accommodation.

Got any questions?
What is the NDIS?
How Can Lead Your Life Help with NDIS Funding?
How Do I Start Receiving Services from Lead Your Life?
Are Your Services Available Across Sydney?
What does assistance with daily life cover under the NDIS?
It covers support with the everyday tasks of living: personal care, meal preparation, household and domestic tasks, and the routines that give a week its shape. It is delivered in your home and around your schedule, and sits within the broader supports funded by the NDIS.
Can you support someone who has a behaviour support plan?
Yes. We hold registration for Module 2a, which covers the implementation of behaviour support plans, and our staff are trained to follow a plan as it is written.
Can daily living support be combined with respite or short-term accommodation?
Yes, and it often is. We also deliver Supported Independent Living, respite and short-term accommodation, so these can be arranged together rather than through separate providers.
Which parts of Sydney do you cover?
Sydney’s Greater West, the Inner West and the Northern Suburbs. Get in touch, and we will confirm availability in your area.
